Beyonce Is Back With The Second Trailer: “Black Is King”

Beyonce has released the second trailer for “Black Is King” which features the singer herself. The film also has Jay-Z, Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Tina Knowles-Lawson and more. The project has been directed, written and executive-produced by the “Lemonade” singer and will be available on Disney+ platform on July 31, 2020.

Just last month, Beyonce had announced the visual album for “Black Is King” by releasing the first trailer. The shooting for the film took place across locations in New York, Los Angeles, South Africa, West Africa, London and Belgium. It will be available to stream on the African Continent according to the distribution deal by Disney.

“Black Is King” by Beyonce will also star Pharrell Williams and Lupita Nyong’o and directors like Emmanuel Adjei, Blitz Bazawule, Pierre Debusschere, Ibra Ake, Dikayl Rimmasch, Jake Nava, and Kwasi Fordjour have contributed in the making of the film.

Beyonce has worked with Disney on their ‘live-action’ CGI remake of “The Lion King”, she voices the character Nala. Along with this, she released the album “The Lion King: The Gift” which also had a documentary “Beyonce Presents: Making The Gift”. The latest, “Black Is King” is based on the music for the “The Lion King: The Gift”.

Beyonce has been quite active, her latest track “Black Parade” which released on July 19, 2020 for the Juneteenth became viral in no time. She also received the annual Humanitarian Award for her philanthropic efforts at the 2020 BET Awards by Michelle Obama.

Beyonce is keeping us on our toes. We are afraid we can’t keep up but then we are not complaining, you keep going Queen B.
