Ryan Gosling is Also an Incredible Pie Baker

Barbie is feeling down because Ken hasn’t treated her to a homemade pie. In an interview, co-stars Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie spilled the beans on their hidden talents.

Gosling, 43, proudly revealed his exceptional pie-making skills, leaving Robbie in awe. He confessed that his speciality is raspberry pie, inspired by his mother, Donna, who used to bake on the side. Gosling humorously asserted, “I’ve been lucky enough to get the pie gene.”

Robbie, 33, couldn’t conceal her surprise and slight disappointment at Gosling’s revelation, jokingly expressing, “I feel hurt that you’ve never made me one.”

Gosling, however, is no novice in the kitchen. He added, “I flute my crust too, so don’t let anyone tell you that I don’t!” He went on to explain the technique, saying, “It’s where you thumb the edges and you make like a nice little, almost like a braid.”

Eva Mendes, Ryan Gosling’s longtime partner, has attested to Gosling’s culinary expertise, confirming in a 2022 interview that the ‘La La Land’ star is an amazing cook. Mendes shared that in their household, there’s a harmonious balance of “you cook, I clean,” which works well for them.

No joke.” She candidly admitted her culinary skills, describing her efforts as more focused on steaming veggies and making rice, while Gosling takes the lead in the kitchen.
