Kevin Spacey Cries on ‘Piers Morgan’ Due to Legal Battles, Says He “Can’t Pay Bills”

Actor Kevin Spacey became emotional on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’ this week, revealing that he’s broke and facing the loss of his home due to mounting legal fees.

Spacey hasn’t worked in Hollywood since 2017, following accusations of s*xual misconduct by several men. Last year, he was acquitted of all charges, and a US court dismissed a s*xual assault lawsuit against him in 2022. Numerous other lawsuits have been dropped, and Spacey denies all allegations. However, in May, a Channel 4 documentary titled ‘Spacey Unmasked’ brought forward 10 more men with new accusations of abuse.

During his chat with Morgan, Spacey said, “I have nothing to hide and I want to live a more open life than the one that I did.” He broke down while discussing the impending foreclosure of his Baltimore home, which is set to be auctioned soon. “I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live now,” he admitted. When Morgan asked about his financial situation, Spacey replied, “None,” revealing he still owes millions in legal fees.

He confessed, “I’ve spent so many years not wanting to talk about myself and avoiding questions about my personal life and my sexuality,” mentioning that he identifies as gay.

Despite the turmoil, Spacey has found support from notable figures like Liam Neeson, Sharon Stone, Stephen Fry, and F. Murray Abraham. Neeson told The Telegraph, “Kevin is a good man and a man of character,” expressing his sadness over the new accusations against Spacey. He praised Spacey as “one of our finest artists in the theatre and on camera,” and stressed that the industry misses him.

Stone eagerly anticipates Spacey’s return to work, calling him a “genius” and “elegant and fun,” while highlighting his generosity and deep knowledge of their craft. She pointed out that young actors had “wanted and want to be around him,” suggesting it’s unfair they blame him for their struggles and unmet ambitions.

Abraham voiced his unwavering support for Spacey, asking, “Who are these vultures who attack a man who has publicly accepted his responsibility for certain behaviour, unlike so many others?” He affirmed, “He is a fine man, I stand with him, and let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
