Suki Waterhouse Shares Robert Pattinson’s Reaction to Her Songs About Exes

According to Suki Waterhouse, jealousy is the last thing on fiancé Robert Pattinson’s mind when she sings about her exes. In a cover story interview for British Vogue’s August issue, the ‘Good Looking’ singer, 32, shared her longtime partner’s thoughts on her music, revealing his relaxed attitude. “[He has] a lot of humour about that kind of stuff,” Waterhouse explained.

When asked if any former boyfriends had commented on her songs, she mentioned that English musician Miles Kane, her ex from 2011 to 2013, called one of her latest singles, ‘My Fun’, ‘Boss.’ She also dated actors Bradley Cooper and Diego Luna before her relationship with Pattinson. Regarding Pattinson’s reaction to her music about past relationships, she said, “He couldn’t really give a s—. He’s like, ‘No one’s better than me, so whatever.’”

Despite being happily in love, Waterhouse said she can still write about heartbreak, often channelling her friends’ experiences. She joked that Pattinson might still inspire a “s—-y song” if necessary, adding, “You can find things to be pissed about.”

Waterhouse and Pattinson, 38, have been together since July 2018, initially sparking engagement rumours. In December 2023, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that they were indeed engaged and planning to marry. This March, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl whose name has not been disclosed.
