Gojira, Trivium and Machine Head to Headline Bloodstock 2025
Gojira, Trivium, and Machine Head have been announced as the headliners for next year’s Bloodstock festival. The heavy metal extravaganza will take place at its home base of Catton Park, Derbyshire, from 7th to 10th August, 2025. Joining them on the line-up are Me And That Man, Kataklysm, Static-X, Obituary, Emperor, Lacuna Coil, Orange Goblin, Creeper, Kublai Khan TX, The Black Dahlia Murder, Lord Of The Lost, August Burns Red, All For Metal, Breed 77, 3 Inches Of Blood, and Feuerschwanz.
Trivium is set to headline Bloodstock on 8th August. The band’s frontman, Matt Heafy, expressed that the UK feels like a second home for Trivium, as it was where the band first gained prominence in 2005. Heafy noted that their bond with the UK has strengthened over the years.

For their headline performance, Trivium will showcase their entire 20-year career and bring the album ‘Ascendancy’ to life with both its music and art. Bloodstock is renowned as the UK’s premier heavy metal festival, and the band is excited to return as headliners alongside two long-time friends. Fans can expect an unforgettable and expansive Trivium set.
Machine Head is thrilled to return to one of their favourite festivals, Bloodstock, in August 2025. The band’s frontman, Robb Flynn, expressed immense excitement about headlining the festival on 9th August, recalling their memorable and intense secret show on the Sophie Lancaster Stage in 2022. That performance, marking their comeback post-pandemic, was one of their most electrifying UK shows, and Flynn promises to top it in 2025. He encourages fans to prepare for an unforgettable experience with Machine Head.
Gojira will wrap up the festival on 10th August. Frontman Joe Duplantier is eagerly anticipating the performance, describing it as a highly intense experience.

In related news, a statue of the late Motörhead frontman Lemmy was recently unveiled at Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire. The statue includes Lemmy’s ashes and is displayed alongside his personal items such as his hat, coat, boots, and photographs, as well as his last jar of Marmite and Milky Way bars from the band’s final tour in 2015.
