‘The War And Treaty’ Declare Jon Bon Jovi is ‘Bigger Than Life’ After Collaboration

After collaborating with Jon Bon Jovi, The War and Treaty have been thrilled by their experience of meeting their idol. The duo, consisting of married musicians Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter Jr., share that Bon Jovi surpassed all their expectations.

The trio recently released the single ‘The People’s House’, which was part of Bon Jovi’s latest album, ‘Forever’. Tanya describes Bon Jovi as “kind, wonderful, and giving,” adding that he exceeded all her preconceptions about meeting such a high-profile artist.

The music video for the single was filmed on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, where Bon Jovi continued to stay even after the Trotters had left.

Michael recounts that Bon Jovi’s heroism occurred shortly after their departure. “I guess they decided to let [Bon Jovi] walk the bridge, and good call because that’s how that took place,” he says. Bon Jovi helped a woman in crisis while remaining on the bridge, showcasing his character in a profound way. “What a moment. Stunned again,” Michael reflects.

Tanya praises Bon Jovi as “bigger than life,” noting that his status as a rock icon did not create any sense of separation between them. She finds him to be “absolutely incredible,” emphasising how genuine and personable he is.

Michael adds that Bon Jovi’s responsiveness is remarkable. “If I text Jon Bon Jovi, he’ll text me back within two minutes. If I call him and he doesn’t answer, he’ll call me back within two minutes,” he reveals. “Even if he can’t talk, he’ll say, ‘Hey man, I’m doing this, but I’ll give you a call right back later.’”
