As we try to make it through the days with our heads held high, there’s no denying that we all need some help; some of us more than others. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread and take a toll on people, there are several musicians out there doing their bit. From providing masks and protective gear to capital funds and even essential supplies like food, the music community has come together to provide resources to those in need like never before.

Pink’s Covid scare has not stopped the artist from reaching out and supporting frontline workers. She recently donated $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia. Her mother, Judy Moore, has worked in this hospital for a whopping 18 years, so this crisis definitely hit close to home.
The singer also donated an additional $500,000 to the Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.

13. Katy Perry-
Doing her bit to aid the battle against coronavirus, Katy Perry has started making contributions by providing essential items to those in desperate need.
The 35-year-old singer is donating 10 percent from the sale of every shoe and handbag in the months of April and May from her brand – katyperrycollections. The fund will be donated to the non-profit organisation ‘Baby2Baby’ to assist “their efforts in providing essential items to children and families impacted by COVID-19”

14. Eminem-
Eminem, the Detroit native, recently sent tubs of prepared spaghetti to the entire staff of Henry Ford Hospital, a local age-old institution, and Detroit Receiving Hospital. With over 400 meals being delivered through the rapper’s Marshall Mathers Foundation. He also clarified that these efforts will continue over the next month.

The now reunited band is selling MCR-branded face masks, and donating all proceeds to the MusiCares COVID-19 relief fund.
In a strange turn of events, this idea began growing much before the COVID 19 crisis ravaged the globe. The masks were originally conceived as a desert screening device by the band’s late manager, Lauren Valencia, who lost her battle against cancer.
“We are living in strange times, alienating times, scary times, we had these masks made to keep you dust-free in the desert, a show that never happened, never will, a protection that then seemed timeworn. And here we are, with these masks, as though Lauren was prescient or we were unknowingly waiting for the right time…”the band explained.

18. Elton John-
The COVID-19 pandemic is making every headline right now, but Sir Elton John is determined that those living with HIV/AIDS are not “forgotten”. He has announced that his AIDS Foundation will donate $1m (£815,000) over the next few months.
Speaking on Miley Cyrus’ Bright Minded live stream show, Elton spoke about the “double whammy” being faced by HIV/AIDS sufferers during this pandemic. While one battle rages on, he has made sure to provide enough armour to aid the other one as well.

19. Miley Cyrus-
Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus are thanked local hospital employees with a thoughtful meal amid the coronavirus crisis. The new couple on the block delivered tacos to healthcare workers, who they branded as “the heroes of our time” on an Instagram post. Miley has also joined forces with MAC Cosmetics, as they aim to earmark 10 million from their annual Viva Glam campaign toward 250 local organizations heavily impacted by the virus,

20. Selena Gomez-
Selena Gomez just released the Deluxe Edition of her latest album “Rare”, and a portion of these proceeds will be going to the COVID-19 relief fund.
By donating $1 from every order of the Deluxe Edition to the Plus1 COVID-19 Relief Fund, the artist is doing her bit to help out.
