This week, the IndigoMusic.com Artist of the Week light shines bright on the woman of the hour: Doja Cat. From sick raps to slick grooves, her music has got it all.
Music would mean nothing without the hitmakers that breathe life into their tunes. Delivering some of the biggest hits in pop music, and doing it consistently isn’t as easy as it seems. But, these stars in IndigoMusic.com’s “Artist of the Week” spotlight do it with slick ease.
This week, the light shines bright on Doja Cat. In just a few months, the American rapper has launched herself into superstardom. Her debut hits like “Say So” and “Juicy” brought her to the forefront of commercial pop music and she continues to hold on tight.
Doja Cat recently made Billboard chart history with the remix of her song ‘Say So”, featuring fellow rapper Nicki Minaj. The track hit No. 1 on Billboard. Since then, she’s hopped on to the remix of The Weeknd’s remix of “In Your Eyes” as a featuring artist on the track.
Now, with all that good comes some bad. And while Doja Cat has been victim to cancel culture this past week, the performer took no time bouncing back from the incident, taking full responsibility for her problematic past.
