The 2024 SAG Awards, a celebration of excellence in film and television, marked a significant gathering of short- and long-form media before the September Emmys. The 'Barbenheimer' phenomenon dominated the film nominations with four nods each, while 'Succession' led the television category with five.
This event also signified the first SAG Awards following the guild's November strike. Idris Elba kicked off the evening, and Jennifer Aniston honoured Barbra Streisand with the 59th SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.
