Ariana Grande is no stranger to fantastic collaborations and this time is no different. She’s tied up with the rising star, Doja Cat. Doja, for one, couldn’t wait to spill the tea on their upcoming tune. The rap star took Twitter by storm when she recently confirmed her pair up with Ariana.
Ariana herself has been leaving a long trail of crumbs, all pointing to a new era in music. But teaming up with Doja has been on her mind for a while now. In an interview earlier this year, she gushed about the rapper saying, “I’m obsessed with her. I love her. I was able to work with her earlier this year on this song that I want to save for whenever it’s time again, to drop. She’s just such a breath of fresh air and I think she’s brilliant and so talented.”

2. In May, Ariana teamed up with Justin Bieber for ‘Stuck With U’. The duo collected fan footage for their heartwarming music video. Further, the net proceeds from the track went on to fund scholarships of children of frontline workers whose lives had been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. June 2019 brought on a spoonful of girl power as the star teamed up with Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey for the feisty tune, ‘Don’t Call Me Angel’ which later featured on the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ soundtrack.
4. In 2019, Ariana also brought the heat with her collaboration with Victoria Monet over the track, ‘Monopoly’. Grande described the song to be about “friendship, freedom, protecting your energy and staying right in your bag.”
5. The young star paired up with Troye Sivan for a charming, mellow track titled, ‘Dance To This’. According to a critic, “The two voices are a true match made in dance music heaven and blend beautifully together during the second chorus.” Well, that’s proof that Ariana chooses her collaborators very carefully.
6. Ariana, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj brought the power with their hit tune, ‘Bang Bang’. It debuted at number one in the United Kingdom becoming Grande’s second number one debut that year and marked Minaj’s first number one single on the chart.
7. Speaking of Nicki Minaj, Ariana previously notched a raunchy collaboration with the rap star over the track, ‘Side To Side’. In 2017, the music video for the track surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, earning new victories for both artists.
8. Ariana grabbed hold of yet another fiery rapper for her track, ‘Problem’ – it was none other than Iggy Azalea. This tune received wide critical acclaim as it was labeled, “an odd blend of ’90s pop and current urban trends but there’s no denying that it’s catchy.”
9. The artist joined forces with Social House for her sultry track, ‘Boyfriend’. This tune brought home many awards, including a VMA for the Song of the Summer and even a Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance category.
10 And finally, Ariana created waves with her collaborative track, ‘Break Free’ featuring the DJ, Zedd. ‘Break Free’ also marked a milestone in Grande’s career, as she became the second lead female artist in chart history to simultaneously hold three positions in the top ten on the Hot 100 after Adele.
