Cher has always been a style icon in her own right, from her early days on Sonny and Cher to her wildest, boundary-breaking Bob Mackie outfits.  Let’s take a look back at some of her most memorable fashion moments from her six-decade career.

1966 – Clad in dazzling metallic pants and a matching sequin top for a performance in Italy with Sonny Bono.
1972 – For a portrait session on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, she looks sleek in a floral-embellished gown.
1972 – Looking radiant in this  feathered headdress and a crystalized bodysuit on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour.
1975 – Performing in a feathered headdress and sequined two-piece look.
1978 – For a portrait shoot, she wore another of her iconic Bob Mackie creations.
      1978 – Modeling a black feathered and leather Bob Mackie design.
1984 – With Val Kilmer in a nude sequin gown at the Oscars.
1998 – At the Oscars, she wore a dazzling nude gown with a matching headpiece.
2004 – Performing in London for ‘The Farewell Tour,’ which turned out to not actually be her farewell tour.
2019 – In a gladiator-inspired bodysuit and a gigantic orange wig, she kicked off her ‘Here We Go Again’ tour in 2019.
