Not long after singer-songwriter, Finneas O’Connell, put out his scathing political anthem, ‘Where the Poison Is,’ the star seems to be prepping for yet another fresh release. Except this time, he’s dabbling with a lighter, festive theme. Yup, you guessed it, Finneas O’Connell is coming out with a holiday song!
So, in celebration of his upcoming release, which is set to make its landing next week – we’ve decided to give you a closer look at the star’s songwriting ability. Forged from a scathing string of words, that pierce like daggers, Finneas has a way if weaving his politics into his art. And the product is always spectacular. And so, we’ve decided to give you a taste of just that.

Like sleep on a red-eye
Like money on a bad bet
Like time worrying about
Every bad thing that hasn’t happened yet’
– “I Lost A Friend”
I’ll stay by your side in the afterglow’
– “Die Alone”
But if we go down, at least I’m in good company’
– “Shelter”
So well
Might even fool the neighbors
Reading your Sunday papers
I won’t tell’
– “Angel”
I wanna lick your wound
You wanna play with fire?
Stick and poke tattoo?
You wanna play, my new girl?’
– “New Girl”
And held us both against our floor
Did we look like lovers or partners in crime?
Did you look like mine?’
– “Partners in Crime”
You can bet I’ll know every line
‘Cause I’m the boy that your boy hoped that you would avoid’
– “Let’s Fall In Love For The Night”
And make it better than it ever was
That’s what they’ll say about us’
– “What They’ll Say About Us”
But you talk so mean
She said, “You know I love you”
I said, “Remind me”‘
– “Life Moves On”
