Green Day–The pop-punk dynamo Green Day is a quintessential Bay Area band. Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool, and Mike Dirnt stormed the Nor Cal punk scene in 1987 and haven’t looked back since. Green Day was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, with singles such as ‘Basket Case,’ ‘American Idiot’ and ’21 Guns’.
