Loved ‘Hit Man’? Watch These Movies Next

After watching Richard Linklater’s ‘Hit Man,’ there are plenty of other great movies to check out. Glen Powell stars in a new film where he plays a college professor who also works secretly as a police department assassin. ‘Hit Man’ is getting a lot of praise as one of Linklater’s best movies. It mixes comedy, action, and thriller elements well. It came out on Netflix on June 7, 2024.

This movie is also a big deal for Glen Powell. It’s his highest-rated film so far, even beating out ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’ In ‘Hit Man,’ he’s joined by Adria Arjona, who plays Madison, his character’s unexpected love interest. She thinks he’s a dangerous assassin named Ron, but he’s actually just a regular guy named Gary. The movie plays with identity and has some cool twists while still feeling like a classic action comedy.
