Masked Movie Killers: Who’s The Scariest?

Clowns, even those not associated with violence, often evoke fear due to their masked appearances, obscuring their true identities and creating an unsettling aura. Similarly, masks in horror movies serve to conceal facial expressions, heightening the sense of chilling anonymity and portraying a sense of merciless brutality. It’s no surprise that some of the most infamous movie killers are depicted wearing masks.

In the early ‘Friday the 13th’ films, Jason Voorhees initially appeared with a somewhat comical, mutated face, lacking lasting terror. However, once he donned the iconic hockey mask in Part 3, he transformed into one of the most menacing figures in the slasher genre.
