Musical Movies That Are Absolute Bangers From Start to Finish

The grandeur and exhilaration of a well-done movie musical are unmatched by many other film genres.  When characters in musicals express themselves honestly and freely, emotions are brought to the forefront.  These movies enthrall audiences not just with their breathtaking imagery and profound narratives, but also by transporting them to a lively, fantastical world where each moment is truly remarkable.

However, the success of a musical is ultimately determined by its tunes.  The music propels the narrative along and creates a memorable experience, whether it’s a passionate ballad or an exuberant dance track.  A musical runs the risk of becoming simply another movie if it doesn’t have any memorable tunes.  Thankfully, some musicals have songs that are perfect from start to finish, making every track a winner.  There is no room for skipping these unique gems; every number is vibrant, and memorable, and contributes to the film’s outstanding quality.  In the future, hopefully, more musicals will live up to this calibre.
