Stars Who Performed For Biden Inauguration
Stars of all stripes participated in the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. The event saw a variety of actors, actresses, musicians, and a National Youth poet laureate throughout a long day of virtual patriotic programming.
Here is a list of stars who gave amazing performances for the historic event.
1. Lady Gaga sang the national anthem for the inauguration. The pop star wore platform boots and a 13-foot-wide skirt, worn with a fitted jacket and topped with an oversize gilded brooch shaped like a dove carrying an olive branch
2. Jennifer Lopez. J. Lo sang Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land,” transitioned into “America the Beautiful,” then said in Spanish, “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all. She is the first to sing in Spanish for a U.S. presidential inaugural event!
3. Garth Brooks. The country star performed a lovely a capella rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’.
4. Foo Fighters performed their song “Times Like These” during the primetime Celebrating America special.
5. John Legend performed “Feeling Good” for the Biden/Harris Inauguration and posed with his family in front of the Lincoln memorial.
6. Bruce Springsteen. The rock and roll star performed “Land Of Hope And Dreams” for the Celebrating America inaugural concert special.
7. Demi Lovato. The pop singer performed a cover of Bill Withers’ ‘Lovely Day’ on Celebrating America, while sporting a new and edgy look.
8. Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemmons. Timberlake brought sexy back to the White House with a performance of his new song, “Better Days,” featuring Grammy nominee Ant Clemons.
9. Katy Perry. The pop star performed her old hit song ‘Firework’ in a ‘Jackie Kennedy – inspired’ dazzling white gown.
10. Jon Bon Jovi. The ‘Livin on a Prayer’ star performed The Beatles hit song ‘Here Comes The Sun’ along with band Kings of Suburbia.
