This past week has just been brimming with a whole lot of news and drama. So, we’re here to take you through all the latest happenings from the music world. From new releases to dance challenges to controversies, take a look at all that went down over the past few days.
2. Baekhyun, from the Kpop band EXO, finally released his second mini album, titled ‘Delight’. This one arrived with the vibrant, sensual music video for his lead single, “Candy”. The album’s got a good 7 tracks that you can, well, delight in.

3. Billie Eilish just released her short film, titled, ‘Not My Responsibility’. This was premiered during the opening night of her 2020 Miami concert and it shows us Billie stripping down to a striking spoken-word track. It addresses public perception and the constant oversexualization prevelant in the music industry.

4. This week, Doja Cat once again came under fire for allegedly making past racist remarks online. The artist put out a statement on Instagram in response to this backlash. This issue also raised questions about ‘cancel culture’ and its toxic nature.

5. An LA based design company has just put out some revolutionary, rather Iron Man-like technology. ‘Production Club’ has built a prototype of a full body, personal protective equipment (PPE) suit called the ‘Micrashell’. The suit aims at providing concertgoers with assured protection in a post-COVID 19 world.

6. Here’s what we know about Lil Nas X’s upcoming album: it is 82% done according to his recent Twitter update. And, he’s looking for some help when it comes to naming it. Luckily, fans across the globe have come to his rescue.

7. Lady Gaga finally dropped her full length studio album, ‘Chromatica’. This one’s got a whopping 16 tracks and features quite the star cast – Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK and Elton John. It won’t be long before quite a few numbers from this album begin to soar through the charts.

8. Not long after joining the one billion club on YouTube, Tones & I
unveiled the cheeky music video for her latest single “Ur So F**king Cool”. The video takes a not-so-subtle jab at influencers and their daily shenanigans.
