Stealing the spotlight as our artist of the week is none other than P!nk! The star has found a lovely spot for herself in the industry and has created an impressive dent with her vocal abilities and powerful concepts.
The star began performing at just 14 years old and it was around this time when she also adopted the moniker, ‘P!nk’. Interestingly, she took the name from the character ‘Mr. Pink’ in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Reservoir Dogs’. But P!nk has come a long way from performing at small gigs. She has currently carved out a unique space for her art and ideologies.
She’s made it a habit of creating songs that tackle weighty issues like mental health, suicidal thoughts, feminism, sexuality and a number of other topics. She’s always been known for her path-breaking role in the industry and has gone on to inspire a string of other powerful musicians.
