‘FBI: Most Wanted’ Season 6 Release Date And Latest Updates
The fifth season of ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ concluded on a celebratory note, marking a significant milestone in the show’s history with its first wedding in the FBI universe. Ray Cannon, portrayed by Edwin Hodge, tied the knot with Cora Love, played by Caroline Harris, in a heartfelt finale that aired in May.
Despite the joy surrounding the event, Hodge was initially apprehensive about the possibility of unexpected drama during the wedding scenes. He candidly shared his concerns in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, revealing, “My first question was, ‘What’s going on at the wedding? I need to know. I do not want any surprises. Do I get shot? Is it a huge deal?’”

Hodge’s anxiety stemmed from a fear that the writers might introduce a dramatic twist that could overshadow the wedding’s significance. He recalled his conversation with the show’s creators, saying, “They said, ‘No, no, no. The wedding is a wedding. And then the case will conflict with it.’” This reassurance allowed Hodge to relax and focus on his performance, knowing that the nuptials would remain a joyous occasion rather than being marred by unforeseen turmoil.
Looking ahead to the sixth season, which was renewed in April, fans can anticipate the continuation of Ray and Cora’s story. The new season, set to premiere in October, will explore the aftermath of their wedding and how their personal lives intersect with their professional responsibilities. The finale of Season 5 showcased the Fugitive Task Force’s successful efforts in thwarting a dangerous plot, allowing the team, including Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) and his date Abby Deaver (Susan Misner), to attend Ray and Cora’s wedding.

The filming of the wedding scene was described by Hodge as a comprehensive effort involving the entire crew. The costume department, along with other staff members, contributed to creating an authentic and memorable celebration. Despite the initial fears of potential narrative twists, the wedding scene was executed smoothly, reflecting the show’s commitment to blending drama with genuine moments of joy.
As for the upcoming sixth season, the show will see the return of its core cast members, including
Dylan McDermott, Edwin Hodge, Roxy Sternberg (Sheryll Barnes), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Hana Gisbon), and Shantel VanSanten (Nina Chase). However, to manage costs, the number of episodes per season will be reduced, with the current plan featuring 20 episodes out of a previously standard 22. This change aims to balance production expenses while maintaining the show’s high-quality storytelling.
The upcoming season promises to delve deeper into the characters’ lives, exploring the personal and professional challenges they face following the dramatic events of Season 5. Fans can look forward to seeing how Ray and Cora’s marriage evolves amidst the ongoing pressures of their demanding careers.
With the new season on the horizon, anticipation is building for how FBI: Most Wanted will continue to captivate its audience with its compelling blend of suspense, drama, and character development. As the show progresses, viewers will undoubtedly be eager to see how the team’s dynamics shift and how the personal milestones of its characters intertwine with their professional duties.
