How ‘Now You See Me’ Sparked New Interest in Modern Magic and Illusion

In addition to captivating viewers with its gripping story and deft turns, the 2013 movie ‘Now You See Me’ rekindled popular interest in contemporary magic and illusion.  The film, which was directed by Louis Leterrier, centres on The Four Horsemen, a quartet of talented illusionists who accomplish amazing heists and dazzle audiences with their magic.  Viewers were intrigued by the film's blend of mystery, suspense, and fantastical illusions, which resulted in a renewed respect for magic.
