James Gunn has given the DCU another thrilling update after the ten-month-long filming of ‘Peacemaker Season 2’ was completed. Rob Hardy will be ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow' cinematographer, Gunn confirmed on his Threads account. Known for his critically lauded contributions to ‘Civil War’, ‘Ex Machina’, and Alex Garland's ‘Annihilation’, Hardy also contributed his skills to ‘Mission: Impossible - Fallout’. Given his reputation for making visually spectacular films, his inclusion in the project is a huge gain for the DCU.
The breakout star of ‘House of the Dragon’, Milly Alcock, will play Supergirl/Kara Zor-El in the upcoming ‘Supergirl’ movie. Marye Knoll is the partner of Eve Ridley, who plays Ruthye, and Matthias Schoenaerts, who plays Krem of the ‘Yellow Hills’. Craig Gillespie, who helmed ‘Dumb Money’, ‘Cruella’, and ‘I, Tonya’, will helm the project.
