The plot centres on Gromit’s concerns about Wallace’s growing dependence on his inventions, especially once a “smart” gnome invention starts acting sinisterly. To save Wallace from certain catastrophes, Gromit needs to take on the mastermind behind these occurrences. Ben Whitehead plays Wallace in the movie, replacing the late Peter Sallis, while Peter Kay plays PC Mackintosh again.
Lauren Patel, Lenny Henry, Reece Shearsmith, Adjoa Andoh, Diane Morgan, and Muzz Khan are also part of the ensemble cast. The cast was commended by Collider for their charm and sense of humour, with Gromit being singled out as one of the most recognizable silent characters in animation. Feathers McGraw’s comeback was praised in the review because of his subtle yet threatening presence, which enhances the film’s thrilling and humorous appeal. On January 2025, ‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ will be accessible on Netflix.
