That One Harry Potter Character Which Needs to Have More Screen Time
If you ask anyone to name one elf from the ‘Harry Potter’ series, people would definitely think of Dobby. He sets a high bar for others and is the most well-known house elf. But Kreacher, another house-elf, plays a great part in the novels as well. He displays the perils as well as the steadfast devotion of house elves.
Kreacher first gives the impression of being a villain, representing the extreme bigotry of the Black family. His life takes a significant turn when Harry Potter takes over as his master. This change demonstrates how loyal house elves can have a significant impact on significant wizarding world events.
Kreacher’s tale also demonstrates how mistreatment may make house elves resentful. Both directly and indirectly, his deeds contributed to Sirius Black’s and Voldemort’s demise.

Due to time constraints, Kreacher’s tale did not receive enough emphasis in the films, even though he is an important character. But the forthcoming TV series would go deeper into his persona, offering him a chance at atonement that the movies did not provide.
Because the Black family treated Kreacher well, he stayed loyal to them, unlike most house elves. Out of allegiance, he even assisted Regulus Black in stealing one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes.

Kreacher’s resentment of Sirius and his adherence to pure-blood principles became a strong reason for issues after Regulus passed away and the Black family disintegrated, which finally resulted in Sirius’s demise. However, Kreacher transforms into a loyal servant who plays a crucial part in the Battle of Hogwarts once Harry shows him kindness. Kreacher’s path demonstrates how even the hardest hearts may be softened by kindness.
