Unveiling ‘The Baby in the Basket’: A Dark Twist on a Biblical Tale

Imagine blending ‘The First Omen’ with World War II-era Scotland, and what do you get? A chilling new horror flick called ‘The Baby in the Basket’! While the presence of Nazis isn’t confirmed, the movie unfolds amidst the chaos of wartime in a Scottish monastery. What’s certain is the spine-tingling religious terror that awaits, teased by eerie images unveiled by Bloody Disgusting.

Drawing parallels to the Biblical tale of Moses, the story begins with a mysterious infant found on the monastery steps during a stormy night. As the sisters take in the baby, they soon realise this isn’t an ordinary child—it could be the spawn of Satan himself.
