As ‘Stranger Things’ approaches its final season, fans are eagerly anticipating how the show will wrap up its beloved characters and overarching storylines. Among the many questions—such as whether Max (Sadie Sink) will awaken from her coma or the fate of the Demogorgon—there is also a significant interest in how individual characters will conclude their arcs. While much of the focus is on the main kids and the key adults like Joyce and Hopper, one character who deserves a notable ending is Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman).
Introduced in Season 2 as a quirky former reporter hired to investigate Barb Holland's (Shannon Purser) disappearance, Murray quickly proved his worth. His skills, including his fluency in Russian and his karate expertise, made him an invaluable asset throughout the series. In Season 3, he played a crucial role in translating for the Russian scientist Alexei (Alec Utgoff) and deciphering the Russians' experiments. His language skills and combat abilities came into play again in Season 4 when he helped rescue Hopper from a Russian prison camp.

Murray’s character adds a unique blend of humour and action to the show. His ability to observe unspoken attractions and his straightforward advice, often delivered with a touch of humour, have provided levity amidst the show's darker themes. His moments of comic relief and genuine concern for others have made him a fan favourite.
A heroic ending for Murray could take various forms. While a dramatic sacrifice like Eddie Munson's (Joseph Quinn) would be fitting, given his fighting skills and his past experiences, it's also possible for Murray to have a heroic moment without dying. Whether he makes a dramatic stand or narrowly escapes danger, his journey deserves a significant and satisfying conclusion.

As ‘Stranger Things’ gears up for what is expected to be its best season yet, it's only fitting that Murray Bauman, a character who has grown from a recurring role to a key player, receives a heroic and memorable ending.
