RJ Adarsh from Indigomusic.com recently visited Coffee Santhe and experienced more than just the art of brewing a perfect cup—he witnessed a movement dedicated to empowering women in India’s coffee industry. Hosted by the Bengaluru-based Women’s Coffee Alliance India (WCAI), the 7th edition of this three-day coffee festival took place at Freedom Park from 21st March.
With over 4,000 attendees in previous years, Coffee Santhe served as WCAI’s primary fundraising event, supporting women coffee plantation workers. The proceeds contributed to essential initiatives such as healthcare for women and children, girl child education, nutrition programs, skill development, and elder care in both traditional and emerging coffee-growing regions across India.
Beyond its impact, the festival celebrated the country’s diverse coffee culture, bringing together enthusiasts, experts, and industry leaders. As the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, Coffee Santhe once again proved to be a platform for change—one cup at a time.
