Eminem Lists Out his Top 10 Favourite Rappers
When a YouTuber who goes by the name, ‘NoLifeShaq’, put out the question, “Who is the greatest rapper of all time?”, he did not expect to get a response from the Eminem himself.
Eminem looks up to and has drawn inspiration from a number of other rap stars. And so, we decided to put down Em’s top ten picks, and spice things up with one absolutely bizarre piece of information on each star.
Of the faces you see here, some might be familiar, while some, not so much. But if Eminem has praised them, then, you know not to take a credible source for granted.
So, let’s dive right in, shall we?
2. 2Pac’s debut solo album, ‘2Pacalypse Now’ was strongly critical of unjust social policies. While the album didn’t witness much success, a lot of other rappers have drawn inspiration from it – including Eminem.

3. According to Jay-Z’s former school teacher, by the sixth grade, he was already testing at a twelfth grade level. Now, that just spells out child prodigy.

4. The Notorious B.I.G had a biopic made on him titled, Notorious. The actor who played the young Biggie in the movie was none other than Biggie’s own son, Christopher Wallace Jr.

5. Nas left his rhyme book on a train while heading to his studio to record one of his tracks. Thankfully, his book wasn’t lost forever as a lovely passenger returned it to him.

6. Kendrick Lamar once revealed that he penned down one of his earlier albums in his mother’s kitchen. The rapper even went on to share a text his mum sent him after she heard the record: “OMG. This CD is the bombbbb! … This your best one to me, no bullshit. Your daddy said u look stressed out on the cover lol. I said n***a that’s the point, we always stressing him out.”

7. When you meet your role model, it’s normal to be a tad bit flustered. But J. Cole took it to a whole new level. In an interview, J. Cole revealed that his first thought when he met Jay-Z was, “Damn, I’m taller than Jay-Z!” For those of ya’ll who didn’t know, Cole is a whopping 6’3.

8. Interestingly enough, Andre 3000 didn’t just craft some exquisite albums. He even created the Cartoon Network animated series, ‘Class of 3000’.

10. Big Daddy Kane has posed with Madonna and Naomi Campbell in Madonna’s 1992 book , ‘Sex’. Well, he is a handsome fellow!
