The One World: Together at Home Concert is A Pure Delight From Start to Finish!

From A-listers like Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Rolling Stones, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend and a number of other artists to real life stories of those working at the front lines, the 8 hour virtual One World: Together At Home Concert witnessed some of the most stunning performances and messages. This lineup was curated by Lady Gaga, who also joined hands with the World Health Organisation and Global Citizen. The 127 million dollars generated from the concert will go to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the WHO.
Lady Gaga curated the whole concert and announced the line up as ‘a love letter to the world’, before performing a stunning rendition of ‘Smile’ from Charlie Chaplin. Elton John, seated at his piano in his backyard, performed ‘I’m Still Standing’ to honor all the health workers out there.. Billie Eilish, along with her brother Finneas, performed ‘Sunny’ by Bobby Hebb and also thanked the ones who are helping the world pull through this pandemic. Sam smith was joined by John Legend for ‘Stand By Me’, a performance that will undoubtedly stay in our hearts. Lizzo covered Sam Cooke’s ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’, while, in a cinematic fashion, leaves blew by in the wind behind her. Celine Dion sang ‘The Prayer’ along with Lady Gaga, John Legend, Lang Lang and Andrea Bocelli as part of the Grand Finale.
