Today, August 29th, we celebrate the pop royalty, Michael Jackson.
Born Michael Joseph Jackson, and launched into a career of music early on in life, Michael Jackson and his estate continue to enjoy one of the most esteemed legacies in pop music. Jackson, who is dubbed the “King of Pop” has left behind a string of classic hits, a style that many today try to emulate, and a lasting presence in the pop music landscape that is still felt.
Throughout his career (and even after his death), Michael Jackson has dealt with magnanimous highs. He’s made an impressive dent in the music industry and has become a role model for countless musicians across the globe.
And while the world finds a way to make sense of the phenomenon that is Michael Jackson, his words of experience and wisdom have always proven to be the spark that helps us navigate through dark days.
