Christina Aguilera Is Back and It’s a Collaboration
Christina Aguilera and pop ballad duo Great Big World are back at it with another haunting collaboration. This one’s called “Fall On Me”.
The pop singer and ballad duo previously collaborated on the emotional track “Say Something” back in November 2013, taking over charts worldwide, becoming a favourite of singers and fans everywhere.
“Fall On Me” channels some serious existential questions in the backdrop of an entirely spring themed music video. Spring is often symbolic of change, being the season of newness. Aguilera sings under a cherry blossom tree in full-bloom – “Fall on me, with open arms// fall on me from where you are// Fall on me with all your light/”
The track’s sound follows similar themes of their previous collab, but ventures out into a different space in terms of vocal arrangement with Aguilera’s vocals being a lot more present in this track. Great Big World, made up of Ian King and Chad Axel give us an airier arrangement this time around.
The song is bound to stick with you and give you a heart rush at the same time. So, just keep your tissues ready.
