6ix9ine: Out of Prison; Out With New Song. Listen

6ix9ine

Daniel Hernandez aka 6ix9ine aka Takeshi69 is not just out of prison, he is out with a brand new track.

6ix9ine was recently released early from prison where he was to be serving two years of jail time because of serious concerns surrounding his asthma in the time of Coronavirus pandemic.

Right after he came back from up the river 6ix9ine released a new rap track called ‘Gooba’. He went on to go live on Instagram to talk to his fans. Though most of it was really just self boasting and dissing his competitors, which something we have come to expect from him — he had 2 million people watching.

“You know why people so mad?” he said in the Instagram live. “Because they thought it was over for me. They counted me out. ‘Oh, you ratted, it’s over for you.’ Y’all could never cooperate with the government and come back. Y’all could never do that. I’m a living legend at the age of 24.”

This refers to his sentence which was originally to be of 37 years and was then mitigated to two years. He complied with the government and provided them with information on his old Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang mates.

“I snitched; I ratted,” 6ix9ine said. “But who was I supposed to be loyal to?”

The lyrics to the song are as candid as they get and present his side of the story and ripe with references to the situation the 24-year-old has found himself in.

The music video is said to have been made in his backyard after seeking permission from the judge. It is what all music videos made during the pandemic surprisingly have — high production value. Well its not surprising considering the rapper has mentioned repeatedly about the kinda dough he has. He mentioned in the Instagram live that the diamond shark necklace that features in the video costed him half a million.
