6ix9ine To Be Sued For $5.3Million Over A Gig
Seems like the rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine is going to be sued for $5.3 million over a gig that he cancelled in 2018. It’s never a day that “FEFE” rapper can do without a controversy. The promoters of the gig had taken an action back in the day by filing a lawsuit however withdrew it after six months.
6ix9ine may have gotten away from it two years back but it does not look great for him this time. The promoters Benhur Tesfalidet and Anton Alexander are accusing 6ix9ine of fraud, breach of contract and defamation. The “Trollz” rapper was scheduled to perform at Washington DC’s Echostage Club in October, 2018 but did not do so.
The rapper backed off from performing on the Echostage Club to perform else where. 6ix9ine was seen attending a gig at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert in New Jersey on the same night.
But, when money is involved, you know you are going to be in trouble. 6ix9ine had allegedly pocketed $58,470 as advance fees. But there are claims that the rapper did not receive the payment. Well, we’ll never know.
Recently, the track “Trollz” released which featured Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine and the proceeds from the song go to help give free assistance to those who can’t bail themselves out.
