A$AP Rocky Avoids Drake-Kendrick Beef: “I’ve Got Bigger Fish to Fry”

In a recent cover story for Billboard, A$AP Rocky addressed his decision to steer clear of the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, despite what appeared to be references to the situation in his collaboration ‘Show of Hands’ with Future and Metro Boomin.

Rocky expressed his stance by saying, “You got to realise, certain n—– was throwing shots for years. I ain’t in the middle of that’s—. That’s not how I retaliate right now.”

He further elaborated, “I got bigger fish to fry than some p—- boys. It is real beef outside. It is real. N—– getting really clipped and blitzed every day. N—– sniping n—– every day. That little kitty s— ain’t about nothing.”

The rapper is also focusing on his music, particularly his upcoming album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’, which has faced delays. In a post on X , Rocky apologised for the delay, citing “leaks & sample clearances” as the main issues impacting the album’s release.

The high-profile feud between Drake and Lamar has been marked by a series of diss tracks from both artists. Drake has released songs like ‘Push Ups’, ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’, and ‘Family Matters’, which include jabs at Lamar.

Conversely, Lamar has responded with tracks such as ‘Euphoria’, ‘Meet the Grahams’, ‘6:16 in L.A.’, and ‘Not Like Us’, and also took aim at Drake in his verse on Metro Boomin and Future ‘Like That’. The exchanges have included personal attacks and critiques of each other’s personal lives and public personas.
