A$AP Rocky Praises Adrian Brody’s ‘The Brutalist’

Rapper A$AP  Rocky has shared his appreciation for the Oscar-winning movie ‘The Brutalist’ and how it inspired one of his own goals.

The film, which was directed by Brady Corbet, centres on Adrien Brody, a fictional architect who escapes the Holocaust and settles in America in the late 1940s.  Later on, he gets involved with Guy Pearce’s character, a wealthy industrialist, who hires him to construct a massive building that presents both men with unanticipated obstacles.

The movie received awards for Best Original Score, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Actor for Brody. It was nominated for ten Academy Awards.  In an interview, Rocky expressed his admiration for the film, saying he saw it three times because it spoke to him personally.  According to him, the movie sparked his interest in furniture design, which he followed by starting his own interior design company, Hommemade, in 2022.  He worked with Italian furniture maker Gufram to create the “Shroom CACTUS” piece for the company.
