Adele Reveals She’ll ‘Take a Long Break’ From Fans After Las Vegas Residency

Adele recently announced to fans during a Munich concert that she will be stepping away from the spotlight for an extended period following the conclusion of her Las Vegas residency.

In a heartfelt moment captured on TikTok, the ‘Easy on Me’ singer shared, “I have 10 shows left, and after that, I won’t see you for an incredibly long time, but I’ll hold you dear in my heart.”

Fans expressed their sadness in the comments, acknowledging Adele’s tendency to take long breaks between projects. One fan noted, “This is what Adele does. Disappears, then comes out with a banger,” referencing the six-year gap between her albums 25 and 30. Adele’s final 10 performances of her Weekends with Adele residency will take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, concluding a successful run that began last year.

The dates for these shows were initially planned for earlier in the year but were postponed due to Adele needing vocal rest. She explained, “I had to pause my Vegas residency because I was unwell. I needed a break.” Despite fans’ hopes for new music, Adele has revealed that she has no plans for any upcoming releases, instead focusing on other creative pursuits during her break.

In a surprising moment earlier this year, Adele seemed to confirm her engagement to sports executive Rich Paul when she playfully told a fan during a concert that she couldn’t marry them because she’s “already getting married.”

The couple, who first sparked dating rumours after being spotted courtside at an NBA Finals game, have continued to keep their relationship mostly private, adding to the anticipation of what’s next for Adele.
