The Billboard Holiday 100 returns to the charts menu, ranking the top holiday songs across all eras using the same formula as the Billboard Hot 100, which blends streaming, airplay and sales data.
Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' tops the Holiday 100 for the 52nd week out of the chart's 57 total weeks since its debut in 2011. The song has topped the seasonal poll for 37 weeks straight going back to the beginning of the 2015–16 holiday season.
The only previous Holiday 100 No. 1s to date are Ariana Grande's 'Santa Tell Me,' Justin Bieber's 'Mistletoe,' Pentatonix's 'Little Drummer Boy' and 'Mary, Did You Know?'
The Holiday 100 component charts for Holiday Streaming Songs , Holiday Airplay and Holiday Digital Song Sales are all topped by Carey's 1994 carol. The track also holds the top spot on Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs chart.
“When I wrote [it], I had absolutely no idea the impact the song would eventually have worldwide,” Carey marveled of Christmas last year. “I’m so full of gratitude that so many people enjoy it with me every year.”
