Amy Winehouse’s 2007 Glastonbury Performance Will be Released on Vinyl For The First Time

For the first time ever, Amy Winehouse’s historic performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2007 is being released on vinyl. Winehouse’s epic performance on the Pyramid Stage, her second appearance at Glastonbury, will be commemorated with the vinyl release of ‘Live at Glastonbury 2007.’ ‘Rehab,’ ‘You Know I’m No Good,’ ‘Tears Dry On Their Own,’ and ‘Valerie’ were among her timeless hits.

Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis said in a statement that the artwork for the release will include a recall of the performance: “Amy Winehouse was a Glastonbury-goer through and through. She either came and played or, when she wasn’t working, came and camped. She played in the blistering heat and the heavy rain, and there were so many magical moments to her performances.”

Universal Music will release the vinyl on 3rd June. The performance will be released on two black LPs, with a crystal clear edition only available via Universal Music.

Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27. She had only released two albums, both critically acclaimed: ‘Frank’ in 2003 and ‘Back To Black’ in 2006. In 2011, a posthumous compilation titled ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’ was released following her death.
