Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh Star in Romantic ‘We Live in Time’ Movie

The upcoming A24 film ‘We Live in Time’ is generating buzz with its latest batch of images featuring two of Hollywood’s most admired stars, Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh. Vanity Fair has unveiled these new visuals, which offer a glimpse into the deeply moving romance drama. The film centres on an emerging chef and a recently divorced individual whose chance meeting leads to a passionate and profound connection. One of the new images shows Pugh enjoying ice cream with a warm smile, while another captures Garfield in a dimly lit living room, casually holding one arm over his head with a subtle smile.

In addition to Garfield and Pugh, Adam James is also featured in the film.  ‘We Live in Time’ is set to hit theatres in October.

The film is penned by Nick Payne, known for his work on episodes of Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ and his feature writing debut with ‘The Sense of an Ending’. Payne’s recent projects include ‘Wanderlust’ and ‘The Last Letter from Your Lover’, showcasing his talent for crafting compelling stories. John Crowley directs  ‘We Live in Time’, with previous directorial credits including an episode of Netflix’s ‘Black Mirror’, the 2019 film ‘The Goldfinch’, and 2015’s ‘Brooklyn’. Crowley has collaborated with Garfield before on the 2007 film ‘Boy A’.

Both Garfield and Pugh are Oscar-nominated actors yet to win the prestigious award. Garfield was nominated for his roles in ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ and ‘tick, tick… BOOM!’, while Pugh received a nomination for ‘Little Women’ and many believe she was overlooked for her performance in ‘Midsommar’.

‘We Live in Time’ might offer both actors another chance for an Oscar nod, possibly even winning.
