Angelina Jolie Shines at ‘Maria’ Red Carpet with Her Kids at New York Film Festival
Angelina Jolie brought her signature glamour to the New York Film Festival with three of her six children. At the premiere of ‘Maria’ at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, the Oscar-winning actress graced the red carpet in a sleeveless white gown, joined by her children Pax (20), Zahara (19), and Maddox (23). Zahara mirrored her mother’s elegance in a white dress, while Pax and Maddox sported sharp grey and black suits, respectively.
Jolie, 49, stars as the legendary opera singer Maria Callas in the biopic ‘Maria’, which has already received glowing reviews and standing ovations at the Venice and Telluride Film Festivals. In preparation for the role, Jolie spent several months training her singing voice, admitting she was nervous during early practice sessions. Her sons were there to support her, even standing guard to prevent interruptions while she found her confidence.

Directed by Pablo Larraín, known for films like ‘Jackie’ and ‘Spencer’, ‘Maria’ explores the final week of Callas’ life in Paris in 1977. The film, which debuts in select theatres on 27th November and on Netflix on 11th December, focuses on the soprano’s struggle with her public persona and personal life, blending grand operatic sequences with intimate moments.
This red carpet appearance follows Jolie’s stunning look at the Venice Film Festival where she wore a custom beige gown by Tamara Ralph. Jolie has been busy on the festival circuit not only for ‘Maria’, but also for her directorial project ‘Without Blood’, a war drama she has been promoting alongside her son Pax, who worked on the film.
