Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Shine at National Board of Review Gala Date Night

Ariana Grande had a wonderful date night with her beau, Ethan Slater.

The couple posed for a cute picture with the ‘Wicked’ co-stars at the National Board of Review Awards Gala in New York City. Grande slowly closed her eyes as they embraced, Slater staring at the camera.

Grande sported a handmade Loewe gown made of pale pink satin with a square bodice that tightened at the waist and no back. The structured gown, which was paired with a similar pink satin shawl, hung barely above her white rounded-toe heels. She accessorized her look with a dark mauve lip gloss and sparkly pink eyeshadow, and she wore her blonde hair in a straight high ponytail with side-swept baby bangs. Two diamond rings, one pink, a diamond choker necklace, and diamond stud earrings were among the accessories.

Slater enhanced her elegance with a white dress shirt and a black satin woven suit.

The pair rejoiced on their ‘Wicked’ accomplishments and the movie’s recent success. In the adaption, Slater plays Boq, and Grande plays Glinda the Good Witch. The gala was also attended by co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Erivo.

The National Board of Review recognized director Jon M. Chu as the year’s greatest director and named Wicked the best movie of 2024 last month.

Grande posted a cute picture of herself and Slater together on Instagram as part of their New Year’s Eve celebration. Jeff Goldblum took a selfie in the foreground, and the two of them grinned for the camera in the grainy photo.

In late 2022, while filming ‘Wicked’, the two first crossed paths. Following their splits from their respective partners—Slater from Lilly Jay and Grande from Dalton Gomez—PEOPLE confirmed their relationship in July 2023.

Despite maintaining a quiet profile for the majority of 2024, Grande and Slater constantly supported each other on Instagram and appeared together during Wicked’s press tour.
