Ariana Grande Announces Extension of ‘Eternal Sunshine’

Ariana Grande has confirmed plans for a deluxe edition of her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine. Speaking on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes on January 6, Grande shared that an extension of the record does exist, though she was uncertain about its release timeline.

When asked about the possibility of new music, she stated that while she wasn’t currently focused on creating new material, there was a project she had completed last year that would eventually be released. Grande described it as an “attachment” to Eternal Sunshine and assured fans that it would be unveiled in the future, though she clarified she was not currently working in the studio.

This forthcoming release should not be confused with the Slightly Deluxe edition of the album, which was released in March 2024. That edition featured four additional tracks, including a collaboration with Troye Sivan, which were not part of the album’s original version.

At the same event, Grande was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Wicked but did not take home the award. The honour went to Zoe Saldana for her performance in Emilia Pérez. Grande is set to return to the screen later this year in the Wicked sequel, Wicked: For Good.
