Ariana Grande Teases ‘Wicked: For Good’ as ‘Quite Different’ From First Film

In ‘Wicked: For Good’, Ariana Grande establishes standards for a novel experience.
The 31-year-old singer and actress revealed details about the ‘Wicked: Part One’ sequel during an appearance at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival recently. She said that when viewers see her character, Glinda, and Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba again, the film will have a different tone.
The second film, she said, was quite emotional and focused on friendship, forgiveness, and unconditional love. She suggested that the movie would feel very different from the first, but she did not reveal any specifics. Grande also noted that the sequel will examine the effects of the actions made in the first film, which concentrates on choices.

The famous ‘Defying Gravity’ scene, in which Glinda and Elphaba part ways, marks the end of ‘Wicked: Part One’. The events of Act 2 of the Broadway musical will be covered in the second instalment. The two main protagonists’ relationship will change in unforeseen ways, and the ‘Oz’ universe will grow even more, according to recent teases from director Jon M. Chu.
Grande and Erivo have both been nominated for the 2019 SAG and Academy Awards due to the immense acclaim they have received for their performances. Grande remembered how, despite being in different places, she and Erivo exchanged heartfelt voice notes and messages in response to their Oscar nominations.
On 21st November, ‘Wicked: For Good’ will be released in theatres.
