At Coachella 2022, Aespa Performed Their New Song ‘Life’s Too Short’

Aespa is the third K-pop girl group to play at Coachella

Aespa made their Coachella debut on 23rd April, and during their set, they unveiled a brand new song called ‘Life’s Too Short.’

Following BLACKPINK in 2019 and 2NE1 during last weekend’s edition of the festival, the SM Entertainment girl group is now the third K-pop girl group to play at the festival.

Aespa performed alongside NIKI, Warren Hue, Rich Brian and other 88rising performers as part of the label’s main stage takeover. Their performance included five songs, the first of which was ‘aenergy,’ the first single from their debut mini-album ‘Savage,’ published last year.

According to The Korea Herald, they addressed the crowd, saying it’s their first time performing in front of such a large audience and were overjoyed to be at Coachella.

Before presenting ‘Life’s Too Short,’ the four-piece performed versions of ‘Black Mamba’ and ‘Savage.’

‘Life’s Too Short’ has yet to receive an official release date, but the band has suggested that a new project is on the way. They said that they were preparing for a unique performance of an unheard track from their soon-to-be-released album and it’s called ‘Life’s Too Short’.

Later in the interview, bandmate Giselle stated that the trio will be back in the US to promote their upcoming record. More details about aespa’s upcoming album should be available in the upcoming weeks.

After six years apart, 2NE1 reunited on stage at Coachella 2022 last weekend. Their one-song set was also part of 88rising’s Head In The Clouds takeover, and it came after CL’s short solo concert. To end the 88rising set, the four-piece performed their hit single ‘I Am The Best.
