Aubrey Plaza Pays Tribute to Late Husband Jeff Baena With Tie-Dye Shirt at SNL 50th Anniversary

During ‘SNL50: The Anniversary Special’, Aubrey Plaza made a modest yet heartfelt homage to her late husband, Jeff Baena.
‘The Parks’ and ‘Recreation’ actress introduced Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard, two musical guests, on stage. She paid subtle respect to Baena and their 2021 wedding by wearing a tie-dye shirt underneath her black dress pants and blazer.
Because Baena had become passionate about tie-dying while under quarantine, the tie-dye pattern held sentimental significance. Plaza revealed in a 2021 interview that the couple chose to wear identical tie-dye pyjamas that Baena himself had made in place of more conventional wedding clothing.

They persevered for more than ten years because of their capacity to overcome those obstacles.
Films that Baena wrote and directed include ‘I Heart Huckabees’ (2004), ‘Life After Beth’ (2014), ‘Horse Girl’ (2020), and his last work, ‘Spin Me Round’ (2022). He and Plaza were married in 2021 after dating since 2011.
