Austin Butler And Zendaya Are Among The SAG Awards Nominees

Austin Butler and Zendaya emerged victorious at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. They have now been nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards which will take place on 26th February.

Austin Butler was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 biopic of the music icon. Zendaya scored a nomination for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for her second season as Rue in ‘Euphoria’. Both the actors are being nominated for a SAG award for the first time.

The film nominations were dominated by ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ and ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ with 5 nominations each. Series ‘Ozark’ and ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ dominated the TV nods, as they were each nominated in 4 categories.
