Ava Max Set to Release New Songs ‘In The Dark’ And ‘Last Night on Earth’

Ava Max is slowly letting her fans in on her new album and the subsequent tracks on TikTok. She recently released the trailer for two of her upcoming songs, ‘In The Dark’ and ‘Last Night On Earth’. Her TikTok videos suggest that ‘In The Dark’ is played in mid-tempo, and the visuals feature Max on a bed under red lights. On the other hand, ‘Last Night On Earth’ is upbeat, and the visuals include Max dancing on a rooftop. 

Both these songs belong to Max’s upcoming album which will be her second after ‘Heaven And Hell’. ‘Diamond And Dancefloors’ will be released on 27th January in 2023 as a follow up to her first album. These songs were preceded by her singles ‘Maybe You’re The Problem’, ‘Million Dollar Baby’, ‘Weapons’ and ‘Dancing’s Done’. Ava Max, in an interview in 2020, opened up about the hurdles she had to overcome to release a debut album, so a follow-up is surely a big thing for her. 

With regard to her first album, she stated, “People who I thought were my friends in the music industry were actually backstabbing me and prolonging the process and trying to make me, like, not make it. That was kind of the hardest thing: to go beyond those people who were really just trying to stop my career because they didn’t like me. But karma, I have to say, is real. When you’re a good person and you give good to the world, and you’re working hard for something you want, you will get there. I truly believe that because I am living proof.”
