Backstreet Boys Are All Set To Release a Christmas Album This Year

Backstreet is back and kicking off the Christmas season early. ‘A Very Backstreet Christmas’, will be released by Backstreet Boys on 14th October, featuring a selection of yuletide favourites along with three newly recorded songs.

The boy band has recorded ‘White Christmas,’ ‘Silent Night,’ ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,’ and other classic songs for their first-ever Christmas album and first studio effort in three years, in addition to brand-new songs like ‘Christmas in New York,’ ‘Together’ and ‘Happy Days.’

Additionally, the ’90s pop icons will release limited-edition red vinyls on their official site and a 15-track CD through Target with the bonus tracks ‘Feliz Navidad’ and ‘It’s Christmas Time Again.’

“We’ve been wanting to do a Christmas album for nearly 30 years now, and we’re beyond excited that it’s finally happening,” co-founder Howie Dorough said in a statement. “We had such a fun experience putting our BSB twist on some of our favourite Christmas classics and can’t wait to be part of our fans’ holiday season.”

The DNA World Tour by Backstreet Boys, which began in April with four performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is currently in its North American leg.

These shows are in support of the band’s album, ‘DNA’, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2019. This is the band’s third No. 1 album and its first to hold that position since Black & Blue spent two weeks at the top in December 2000.
