Bad Bunny Drops New Single ‘Pitorro de Coco’ and Unveils Upcoming Album ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’

Bad Bunny has revealed details about his upcoming album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, along with the release of a surprise single titled ‘Pitorro de Coco.’ The Puerto Rican superstar, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, announced the news on his official Instagram account on December 26. He shared that his sixth studio album, which translates to I Should Have Taken More Photos, is set to release on January 5, 2025.

A teaser video for the album features renowned Puerto Rican filmmaker Jacobo Morales reflecting on his life with a cartoon companion named Concho. In the video, Morales speaks about the richness of his experiences, the people he has met, and the places he has visited, emphasizing that none compare to Puerto Rico. He expresses a sense of nostalgia, mentioning that he should have taken more photos to share those moments with others.

Morales reflected further, explaining that photos are captured moments—memories of experiences and events. He shared that he wasn’t someone who frequently posted on Instagram or shared stories online, believing it was better to live in the moment. However, he acknowledged that as one grows older, recalling those moments becomes more challenging. Morales expressed regret, saying he should have taken more photos, lived more fully, and loved more deeply while he had the chance. He emphasized the importance of loving as much as possible while still alive. In response, Concho reassured Morales by expressing his love for him.

Shortly before the album teaser was shared, Bad Bunny surprised fans by dropping the single Pitorro de Coco, named after a traditional holiday rum drink. The song explores the reggaeton artist’s struggle with heartbreak over a past lover during the holiday season. You can listen to it below.

Debí Tirar Más Fotos follows Bad Bunny’s previous full-length album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (which translates to Nobody Knows What Is Going to Happen Tomorrow), released in 2023.

In other updates, the trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler and featuring Bad Bunny, was recently unveiled.

Additionally, it was announced that Bad Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour secured the seventh spot on the Top 10 highest-grossing music tours for 2024, earning an impressive $210.9 million (£166.2m).
