Bad Bunny Reveals if New Album ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ Was Inspired by Kendall Jenner
It has been suggested that Kendall Jenner served as an inspiration for Bad Bunny’s most recent album, ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’. However, the musician, whose true name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, addressed the suspicions surrounding his music and explained the inspiration behind his work in an interview with TIME magazine that was published in January recently.
According to Bad Bunny, his songs aren’t always associated with a particular person, even though they may strike a personal chord with listeners. He mentioned that he has composed songs that are inspired by people that the general audience is unaware of, highlighting the fact that a song’s meaning can change. It could be a reflection of a prior love, the loss of someone who is no longer in his life, or even other intangible emotions of loss.
Heartbreak, longing, and nostalgia are the main themes of the album. The title of the album, ‘I Should Have Taken More Photos,’ perfectly captures this idea. Bad Bunny captured the bittersweet balance of delight and nostalgia when he called the project a love letter to Puerto Rico. He pointed out that although the album has emotional moments, it also highlights the joy of returning to Puerto Rico, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying small pleasures like playing dominoes.

Because of the two’s alleged relationship, which started in February 2023 when they were seen dining with Justin and Hailey Bieber, there is conjecture regarding whether the album is related to Kendall Jenner. Later, Jenner was spotted going on dates with Bad Bunny in New York and dancing to his performance at Coachella. The two were becoming more serious by April 2023, according to a source who told PEOPLE that they were a “cute couple.”
Despite taking a short hiatus in December 2023, the couple resumed their affair a few months later and were spotted together at several events, including a Met Gala afterparty. They were also seen on a romantic outing at the Louvre in Paris and going on a date in Puerto Rico, the home of Bad Bunny.

Reports by September 2024 indicated that the couple had broken up once more, despite their renewed interest in one another. In his appearance on Eladio Carrión’s song ‘Coco Chanel,’ Bad Bunny seems to allude to Jenner’s ex-boyfriend Devin Booker earlier in their relationship. In the song’s lyrics, he made references to Booker by comparing the heat in Puerto Rico to Phoenix and Jenner’s zodiac sign by referring to Scorpio women as dangerous.
